Early C16, refronted early C19. 3 storeys. 1 window. Hipped Welsh slate roof.
Timber-framed, plastered front with jettied 1st floor. Coved eaves cornice. Masonry
party walls with chamfered corbels of former 1st floor jetty, and carried up as
plastered pilaster strips. Architraved sash windows with side lights and glazing
bars. Later C19 shopfront with fluted pilasters and entablature with dentil cornice;
modern shop window and doorway. Attic retains sections of reused, early C16 linenfold
panelling; also used as top of staircase with early C18 turned balusters and moulded
handrail. Original roof structure with collared trusses.
