Pair of cottages. C17 build at rear, C18 facade. Red brick, red pantiled roof. Briar Cottage to east has canted bow window, early C19 fixed casement with sash-type glazing bars, altered side lights. One first floor 2-light casement with glazing bars. Part glazed door c.1900. First floor and eaves platband. Fern Cottage to west, whitewashed brick, has one ground floor tripartite plate glass sash c.1900, one first floor sash with glazing bars. Fine early C19 doorcase, 2 fluted Greek Doric pilasters, entablature with triglyphs and guttae, cornice. Raised, fielded 9 panel door, centre panels with corner paterae, 2 upper panels glazed.
