TF 8342 BURNHAM MARKET OVERY ROAD (south)

12/64 Old Rectory.

Former Rectory House. Early C19. Flemish bond. Red brick, slate roof,
2 storey, 3 bays, early C19 Holkham Estate style. 2 ground and 3 first
floor sashes with glazing bars under flat rubbed brick arches. Central
porch with 2 round columns, 2 pilasters, frieze and cornice, flat roof,
moulded architrave, 2 leaf part glazed doors. First floor flatmoulded
brick platband, moulded brick eaves cornice. Hipped roof with central
stack. Red brick returns, and 2 storey set back service wing to west.
Stable block, not of special interest, with datestone "T.W.C. 1809" suggests
date.
