C18 to early C19. 2 storeys. 2 windows to No 55 and 3 to No 57. Common slate gabled roof. Stone rubble fronts. 2-light metal casements; wooden lintels; upper windows are segmental headed. No 55 has windows with small panes and shutters to upper windows. Modern rustic door to No 55. No 57 has 4 flush panelled door with top 2 panels cut away and glazed.
Nos 47 49 Roman Catholic of St Edward the Mar 9 and Old Sarum form a group .
