- Wood Farmhouse

Range of farm buildings consisting of a threshing barn to the west and linhay to the
east. C18 cob and stone rubble with corrugated asbestos roofs, the threshing barn
hipped at the left end, gabled at the right end ; the adjoining linhay with a lower
roofline, hipped at the right end.
The threshing barn has 2 double doors on the front with cheeks : a small
weatherboarded block at right angles to the barn between the entrances may have been
an engine house and probably post dates the barn. Adjoining the barn at the right is
a 6-bay linhay with circular pillars : the pillars are stone rubble up to the level
of the loft floor, cob above. The loft is open, the ground floor weatherboarded with
plank doors.
Interior The barn has pegged x apex roof trusses, probably C18.
