Direction post. Early C19. Granite. Square-section post with segmental shaped
top. On north-west face is carved TO MANATON, on north-east face TO ILSINGTON, on
south-west face TO ASHBURTON, and on south-east face TO NEWTON. The lettering has
been picked out in black.
