- Churchyard, about ½ metre north of
north chancel chapel

GV II

Capstone of chest tomb. 1675. Granite. Flat-topped stone with moulded edges.
Carved inscription on top. Border, defined by 2 incised lines, is slightly chipped,
but seems to commemorate (Si)byll, wife of Francis Southcote, buried in March 1674.
The parish register records the burial of Sybill, wife of Francis Southcote of Bovey
Tracey, gentleman, on 14 March 1674/75.
