C17 remodelled early C19. Uncoursed rubble with stone quoins. Pottergate
elevation of three storeys now roughcast, central entrance of early C19
moulded and shouldered stone case with window above on each storey, either
side is a full height three-light bay with Tuscan mullions. Cornice and
parapet. String between storeys below window. Four-light rectangular
fanlight to door.
Gallowgate elevation-moulded stone string course between storeys. Three
windows, late C17/early C18 window frames now blocked and late C18 windows
superimposed. One window blocked on first floor. Interior good: also
has C16 or early C17 fireplace. Staircase lit by lofty window with Gothic
glazing bars.
