Village school now village hall. Probably late C19. Plaque with date of 1835 has
apparently been reset. C17 free style. Red brick in Flemish bond with stone
dressings. Graduated stone slate roof with raised verges and ashlar coping. Brick
stack to rear. One storey, 3 bays with central projecting porch. Tudor-arched
chamfered entrance under hood-mould, porch corbelled out to curvilinear gable above.
Single-light deeply chamfered windows to each side. Quoins. End walls have deeply
chamfered 3-light mullion and transom windows.
