Small mid C19 signal box of 2 storeys in brick with 2 large windows with sliding
sashes with glazing bars and wood lintels above 2 round-headed windows. Steps
up to door in gable end on 1st floor and to walkway to front. Gable end also
has 1 sliding sash window.

Signal box and Woodland Cottage form a group.
