C1880 large stock brick warehouse of 6 storeys and 13 bays. White brick dressings
to hatch rank reveals and gauged segmental window arches. One single hatch rank and
2 pairs to yard elevation. Windows have iron framed glazing. Deep Italianate
moulded brick modillion cornice and blocking course. River elevation, of one bay less,
has similar details but with a plain parapet instead of the heavy eaves cornice.
Double and triple hatch ranks. New Crane Wharf completes a good warehouse/wharf
sequence from Metropolitan Wharf. See entry for 'A' warehouse Metropolitan
