SS 80 SW SANDFORD STONE'S HILL

2 cottages, now one house. Probably C18. Plastered cob on rubble footings; rubble
or cob stacks topped with C19 and C20 brick; thatched roof. Originally a pair of
cottages facing south, a 2-room plan cottage to left (west) and one plan room
cottage to right (east). Right end projecting stack and left rear lateral
projecting stack. 2 storeys. 3-window of C20 casements with PVC glazing bars.
Central door with hipped thatched hood. Originally left cottage had 2 windows with
central door and right cottage had door to left. Roof is hipped each end. Plain
chamfered beams inside.
