Originally stables and coach house of Hillworth House Hillworth Road (South
Side) qv. L plan. Circa 1840. 2 storeys red brick. Low pitch hipped
slate roof with shallow eaves band. 2 windows to west: 2 light flush casements
with glazing bars intersecting at top to form pointed arches to each light,
panelled spandrels. Door of 4 flush panels south side under modern brick
porch.
North front: 1 window similar to those on front. Neo-Tudor doorway with
5 panel door with cross batten. Slate roof porch on wood posts.
Stable wing also 2 storeys 1 similar casement and loft hatch to lst floor.
Double carriage doors to right, the others altered.
