the churchyard c 13 m
south east of the porch
of the Church of St Andrew
GV II
Chest tomb. Late C17 or early C18. Sandstone. Very thick flat top, with
inscription and cross, to moulded edge, sunk panels with rosettes and enriched
moulded surrounds. The whole sunk and overgrown at time of survey, September 1983.
No inscriptions legible, but the thick top and total design are of an early date.
One of a group of two monuments, this c 2.5 metres immediately north of the church-
yard cross (qv).
