House, formerly 2 cottages. Mid C17. Plastered cob on rubble footings; cob, rubble
and brick stacks topped with C19 brick; thatched roof. 3-room range facing south-
east, formerly consisting of a 2-room house on left side and 1 room cottage on right
end. Left end stack and axial stack between centre and right room. 2 storeys.
Overall regular but not symmetrical 5-window front, all C20 casements with glazing
bars. Right 3 are symmetrical about C20. Glazed door and second C20 door at left
end. Roof hipped each end.
Interior: outer rooms have chamfered and scroll-nick stopped beams, a cross beam to
right, axial to left. Right room has blocked large fireplace and fireplace in left
room rebuilt in C19 brick with side oven. Narrow central room is said to have
blocked fireplace backing onto left room fireplace. Roof not inspected.
