House. Mid C18 with C19 alterations. Coursed squared gritstone, graduated
stone slate roof. 2-storey, 2-bay main range with 11/2-storey bay to left.
Quoins. Main range: central half-glazed C20 door in eared architrave with
pulvinated frieze and shallow moulded cornice. Square C20 frames in plain
stone surrounds, the sills lowered. Bay to left: half-glazed door in stone
surround with ovolo moulding to right, square window with lowered. sill as
main range to left; small 2-light window with side-sliding sash under eaves
above. Gable copings and kneelers to main range and to left of lower bay;
banded stack to each gable. Rear: narrow stair window to centre of main
range. Attached C19 outbuilding to left, not of special interest. Similar
in date and style to Woodlands, Risplith (qv).
