Public house. C17, enlarged C18 to west. C17 part of ashlar with Collyweston stone
slate roof to front and plain tile to rear. Main block and cross-wing. 2 storeys and
attic. North front one window wide, with C19 3-light windows to ground and first
floors and a hipped 2-light dormer above. Rear reveals cross-wing with coped gable
and stone stack with brick shaft. Mixed fenestration including C17 windows (now
blocked) with mullions and cornices. C18 part of rubble with fine ashlar north front,
Collyweston stone slate roof with coped gables and stone west end and brick east end
stacks. Two storeys. North front 3 window range. Coved cornice. Central double
boarded doors flanked by tripartite windows with glazing bars beneath double
keystones. First floor has central full-length opening partly boarded and with C20
casement window, flanked by C20 sash windows with glazing bars. Cellar opening to
right of entrance. Sometime the Swan Inn.
