Winns Cottage

GV II

Cottage. Early C17, with early C18 and late C19 alterations. Red brick and timber
framed. Pantile roof and single brick gable stack. Front has doorway to left with
plain door, and to the right 2 plain sashes in narrowed openings. Above 2 plain
sashes. Rear front has 2 bays of exposed timber framing with arched braces, plus a
tiny addition, and a larger single storey addition with a plank door, and a glazing
bar sash, both under segment heads, with beyond another plank door under a timber
lintel. Interior contains a single partition with an arched brace, some chamfered
beams with stops and a single exposed post.
