Farmhouse. Late C17 with C19 and C20 alterations. Limewashed rubble, limewashed
stone dressings, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Entrance left of centre
in C20 gabled porch has moulded surround, 4 panel door, upper 2 glazed. Left-hand
ground and upper floor windows have plain C19 surrounds, 6 pane sashes. Large
ground floor window right of entrance has moulded surround, 6 pane sashes and
was probably wider as hoodmould continues to left, and sill has been lowered.
Right-hand ground floor double chamfered window, probably originally 2-lights
with mullion now missing, hoodmould. Remaining upper floor windows, right of
centre double chamfered former 2-light, mullion now missing, 6 pane sashes,
right-hand stepped 3-light double chamfered mullioned, outer fixed lights, inner
4 pane sashes. Hoodmould has massive stops - foliate to left, grotesque to
right. Gable end stacks, that to right projects. Main outbuilding to right
is round-arched fireplace with joggled voussoirs inscribed 1669 IB TB.
