Late C19 brick building comprising:
a. A left-hand part of 2-storeys and attic. Gable-end on to road with balustraded
square bay projecting at ground floor level.
b. A single storey part having a slate roof with eaves and a 4-light square headed
window linking with:
c. A square corner tower of 3 storeys plus a lantern. The ground storey has a stone,
segmental arched entrance leading to the waterworks bearing the inscription:
"Southwark and Vauxhall Water Company". The first floor has a tall, 3-light window
with stone dressings on each face and surmounted by the third floor entirely in stone
having a clock on each face and a dentilled cornice. The lantern is hexagonal with
columns and a leaded cupola.
