Shop, formerly part of maltings. C17, refaced in C18. Largely
brick with some stonework, and substantial timbering to roof
structure. 2 storeys, gable facing street, partly cut by later
building across front, No.17 (qv). Narrow shop front inserted
in ground floor, and 3-light window over with heavy lintel.
Small 2-light window in gable. Crow-stepped coping to gable.
INTERIOR: a series of heavy, closely-spaced roof trusses, with
tie beam below the wall plate carrying queen posts with collar
and bracing to wall plate.
