Pair of shops, possibly originally dwellings. Early C18, built
in 2 phases. Painted brick with plain tiled roof. 3 storeys,
5-window range, unequally divided between the 2 units (4-1).
Shop fronts inserted late C20. Flush-framed 12-pane sash
windows above (wider 4-pane sashes to No.73), with flat-arched
gauged brick heads. Modillion eaves cornice to overhanging
roof. 3 gabled dormers in the roof. Gable end stack on right
hand.
