Cottage. Probably C18, modernised circa 1920-30. Plastered cob over exposed rubble
with C20 brick dressings up to first floor level; rubble stack topped with C19
brick; thatched roof. 3-room plan cottage facing south-east with end stack on left
(south-west) end. 2 storeys. Regular 3-window front of C20 casements, most without
glazing bars. Doorway left of centre with C20 gabled porch. Roof is hipped to
right and half-hipped to left.
Modernised interior in which much of original timberwork has been replaced in C20.
Left (south-west) room however has 2 deeply but roughly chamfered axial beams and a
rubble fireplace with a soffit chamfered and runout stopped oak lintel and an
inserted C19 brick oven on right side.
Roof not inspected.
