House and shop. c1840 with later alterations and altered late
C19 shopfront. Orange-grey brick in Flemish bond with timber
shopfront and eaves cornice; pantile roof.
EXTERIOR: 3-storey 1-window front. Shopfront framed in fluted
pilasters with broad canted frieze and cornice terminating in
bulbous brackets. Glazed and panelled door recessed between
plate glass windows over moulded panel risers. Windows on
first and second floors are 16-pane sashes with painted sills
and channelled wedge lintels. Moulded eaves cornice.
INTERIOR: staircase with slender turned balusters and
serpentine moulded handrail survives.
