House, now two dwellings. Late C18/early C19, No 81 being a
remodelling of an earlier building.
Painted render, crested slate roof hipped to the right with 2
external rubblestone stacks to the rear.
Double-depth plan with long rear left wing.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 3-window range. Moulded eaves cornice,
6/6-pane sash windows to the first floor and 8/8-pane sashes
to the ground floor, to the left is a deep recess containing
two C19 six-panel doors in moulded architraves with
overlights, one to the rear and one at a right angle to the
right.
A lower windowless range to the far right has a wide C19
planked door with a pintle for a former outer shutter or gate
set into the right-hand jamb.
