House, now shop. c1700 with late C18 alteration and rear
extension; C20 restoration. Orange-brown brick in Flemish
bond, extension in English garden-wall bond; pantile roofs
with brick stacks.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and attic; 2-window gabled front. 12-pane
pivoting windows on first floor, similar 16-pane window on
second floor, 16-pane sash to attic: timber wall plate visible
over first floor windows, vestigial segmental arches of brick
over those on second floor and attic. 2-course raised brick
bands to second floor and attic. Rear: 3-storey extension with
12-pane sash windows.
INTERIOR: timber-framed party wall with No.21 (qv) visible on
second floor.
