Cottage. Probably C18. Whitewashed rendered stone rubble and cob. Thatch roof
half-hipped at left end, gable end to right. Brick stack to fireplace across the
left end corner, and stone rubble stack at right gable end.
Plan: interior not accessible and said to be much altered in C20, but probably
consists of 4 ground floor rooms in line, with 2 entrances suggesting that the
cottage may at one time have been in 2 occupations.
2 storeys. 4 window range. Late C19/C20 fenestration with 3 light casement, 2
panes per light on each floor at left end, otherwise 2 light casements, those to
upper storey 2 panes per light, those to ground floor are C20. 2 C20 stone rubble
porches with pantiled roofs and C20 doors. Leanto's at each gable end and C20
outshut to rear. The 2 central ground floor windows appear to be inserted in
blocked doorways.
