C16 or earlier timber framed building with C19 rear span. 2 storeys. Very
irregular with 2 windows on 1st floor, 4 on ground floor. High pitched tiled
roof with old ridge stack. Tile hung 1st floor, brick ground floor. C18 leaded
iron casements on 1st floor. Ground floor windows part C18 and part modern
but without leading, 1-storey right extension.
Inside several original fireplaces and much exposed timber. Main roof solid
side- purlin type with wind braces, but roof of former shed, now incorporated
into house, is of collar-purlin type.
