House with shop. 1836-39, with C20 shopfront. Painted brick in
Flemish bond, rendered at right side; timber cornice to slate
roof with brick stack at each end.
EXTERIOR: 4-storey, 2-window front. Shopfront framed in sunk
panel pilasters with glass double doors between plate glass
windows. First and second floor windows are 12-pane sashes
with slender glazing bars, those of first floor taller than on
second: squat 6-pane sashes on third floor: all windows have
painted stone sills and cambered brick arches, those on third
floor partly obscured by moulded eaves cornice. Octagonal
rainwater head at right end of cornice.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
