No.2 Davids Land Cottages

Cottage. Mid C19. Rear of plastered cob and rubble, front of volcanic stone, and
part of first floor is hung with red tile; stone rubble stack topped with brick;
roof of interlocking red tiles with unusual pointed edges.
2-room plan cottage facing south with larger, wider and taller right (east) room
having a projecting rear lateral stack. No.1 Davids Lane Cottages, Bramble
Cottage adjoins to right (east) 2 storeys. 3-window front of C19 and C20
replacement casements, most with glazing bars. Right 2 windows in rubble front
under segrental arches. Doorway to left under segmental arch and behind C20
monopitch and glass-roofed porch. Left room is tile hung at first floor level as
too is left gable end.
Interior: modernised; plain carpentry detail where exposed.
