2/225 Barn about 25 metres south-east
- of Middle Bonehill Farmhouse, on
the opposite side of the road

GV II

Barn. Possibly C17 or earlier. Granite rubble. Roof covered with corrugated iron.
1 storey with loft. In north front, off-centre to left, a wide doorway with plait
wooden lintel; C20 double doors with old wrought-iron strap-hinges. In east gable-
wall a loft entrance without a door. No openings in the other 2 walls. Late C17 or
C18 roof trusses with collars pegged to the faces of the principal rafters. The
barn occupies a prominent position on the green in the centre of the hamlet.
