Cottage. C17 with several alterations. Swept pantile roof on 2 levels, raised verges
with ashlar coping and shaped kneelers. End and central stacks, that to left stone,
otherwise brick. Central hearth-passage plan. Two storeys,4 1st floor windows. C20
glazed door in chamfered, quoined surround with Tudor-arched chamfered lintel.
Double-chamfered windows with sliding sashes inserted, the 2 right bays have C20
replicas of the originals. Fire window to left of entrance with oculus above.
Sundial dated 1699 above entrance. To rear four 2-light windows with chamfered
mullions. Interior: ceiling joists with chamfer stops. Salt or spice cupboard set in
wall to south of fireplace.
