Entrance walls, piers and railings. Early C19. Sandstone ashlar walls and
piers; wrought iron railings. Quadrant dwarf walls of sandstone ashlar have
chamfered coping, which changes at outer ends to square bases for round piers
with domed copings. Spear-headed railings and dogbars set into coping. At
right of entrance the former gates, which have spearhead uprights and dogbars
and central horizontal band of double scrolls, have been resited as railings.
