House. c1790 with C19 alterations. Rendered, slate roof. Central staircase
plan. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Central entrance with Doric engaged pillars, fluted
frieze, open pediment and paterae in tympanum; late C19 two-panel door, upper
half glazed with etched glass and blue margin pane glazing. 2 ground floor
and flanking 2 upper floor windows are stepped 3 light flat faced mullioned,
sashes without glazing bars. Ground floor sill band. Upper floor central
single light, sashes with glazing bars. chamfered quoins. Frieze to eaves
has 5 paterae and 4 broad bands of fluting, probably derived from Doric triglyphs,
as is the entrance; eaves cornice. Shaped gable end kneelers, coping and gable
end ridge stacks. Interior: dog-leg staircase, open string, stick balusters.
