of St Mary and St Peter

Chest tomb, almost sunk into ground at time of survey, December 1983. Late C17.
Sandstone. Flat top to moulded edge, west end with incised lyre or similar
decoration, now largely concealed. Inscription, on top, to Elinor Webley, 1715
in fine lettering, but this almost certainly an earlier tomb.
In alignment with Walter Webley and Christian Webley monuments (qv), and are of
a group of four family memorials.
