House, early C18 with late C19 alterations. Squared stone front, coursed
rubble to rear; cut dressings. Scottish slate roof. South elevation 2 storeys,
in 2 sections. Original house 3 bays, symmetrical. Chamfered plinth. Central
renewed door in chamfered opening; C20 small-paned casements in older openings.
Gables with coping returned on deep footstones; stepped-and-banded end stacks.
2-bay right part originally single-storey, heightened in C19; similar
fenestration, coped right gable and end stack.

Adjacent Lynn Law Cottage to right is altered and not of special interest.
