House. Sub-mediaeval, probably C16 or early C17 but altered C19 and C20.
Render over timber-frame, steep-pitched Cotswold stone roof on exposed
wall-plate. Originally single-cell plan. 2 storeys and attic - 2 gabled
dormers. 2 windows on 1st floor, late C19 and C20, sash to left,
projecting rectangular bay with glazing-bar casement to right. Projecting
late C19 shop front with central entry. Plain door to right. 2-storey
C18 or early C19 extension to rear. Described in a deed of 1250 as a
half-burgage.
