Double-fronted shop with carriage entrance to the right, now 2
shops. Early C19. Rendered with a shallow-pitched slate roof
and brick stack to the left. Double-depth plan with C20 rear
additions.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys; 2-window range. Former tripartite sash
windows to the upper floors have late C19 casements with
hinged 2-pane overlights to the centres. The central former
6-panel door (now with C20 half-glazing) and overlight is set
in a fine early C19 painted timber doorcase with fluted
pilasters supporting a triglyph frieze and cornice. The
carriage entrance, with a C20 window over the front, has lath
and plaster to the ceiling and wall of the right return to the
shop.
