GV II

House at a right-angle to the road. Late C18/early C19,
altered mid and late C19. Roughcast probably over red
sandstone rubble and cob, slate roof, brick stacks.
Double-depth plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; symmetrical 3-window range. Modillion
cornice, late C19 plate-glass sashes and mid C19 half-glazed
door with margin panes under a trellised porch.
INTERIOR: an altered staircase retains a mid C19 wreathed rail
and curtail step, a semi-elliptical-arched recess with a
keystone to the ground floor, mid C19 cast-iron register
grates to ground and 1st floors and late C19 4-panel doors.
