Boathouse. Late C19. Brick with mock timber work with some
herringbone brick in side wall, and plain tiled roof with
ridge cresting.
2 storeys, asymmetrically planned with wide brick boat store
to ground floor projecting forward of main house, its roof
forming a balcony. This has 3 segmental archways and one
inserted arch. Main house has gable with lean-to against one
side, and wing to the right. Canted bay window in gable with
French doors with fanlight in central gable, and 3-light
casement window in apex of gable above. Initials PBC (Pengwern
Boat Club) in gable. 3 windows in outshut on return elevation
are 12-pane sashes. 2 wide gabled dormers in this elevation.
Paired sash windows in flanking wing to right. 2 axial stacks.
