GV II

House. Late C17. Brick with plain tiled roof. 2-storeyed,
gable facing street, 3-window range. Doorway to right,
4-panelled door in timberwork porch. Two 12-pane sashes with
heavy astragals to the left, and 4-pane sashes above, with
blind window over doorway. Coped pedimented gable with paired
sashes beneath relieving arch. Later C19 addition as wing at
right angles to main range, possibly replacing earlier
structure to right, and a narrow bay of the later C18 added to
the left. Stacks in side walls. Rear elevation also has
pedimented gable, capped by urns. INTERIOR: original staircase
survives.
