House, late C17 refronting of earlier timber-framed range, red
brick with ashlar dressings and hipped stone slate roof with ridge
stack to left. Two storeys and attic, 5-window range with 2
gabled dormers and formal main front with flush quoins, raised
moulded plinth, raised band and moulded eaves cornice. Five first
floor 2-light beaded stone-mullion windows with brick voussoirs
over. Ground floor has two similar 2-light windows to right, but
with cambered brick arches over, and, to left stone cross-window
each side of 4-panel door in raised moulded surround with hood on
brackets. Square-framing exposed on end walls and rear.
Interior: ground floor has heavy chamfered beams with bar stops.
