Barn, stable and cartshed range. Mid and late C18. Mostly weatherboarded timber-
frame with plain-tile roof. T-plan, stable range projecting to rear. Barn has
coursed rubble stone plinth and is of 3 bays and mid C18. Central opposing double
doorways. A small window to right and left. Interior: tall panel framing with
braces. 3-bay queen-post roof with double trenched purlins, clasped principals
and ridge piece. The first section of the stable range is similar but with brick
infill to the framing to rear. Stone plinth, 2 stable doors. Interior: unchamfered
beams to loft floor. 2-bay roof probably renewed early C19. Further single-storey
stable has large panel framing with brick infill and stable doors and windows.
Interior: 2-bay queen-strut roof with trenched purlins. On right end of barn a
4-bay brick cartshed, the piers infilled with C20 doors and windows but retaining
the original roof.
