2/207 Woodparks Farmhouse

II


Small farmhouse. Late C17-early C18, modernised circa 1975. Plastered cob on
rubble footings; cob or rubble stack topped with C19 brick; thatched roof. 2-room
house facing south-east with central cross passage and rear outshots. Apparently
extended to right (north-east) in late C19-early C20. 2 storeys. 4-window front
of circa 1975 casements. Door behind circa 1975 glass sided and roofed porch.
Large kitchen stack projecting from left (south-west) end. Stack to right room
demolished. Most original features are hidden internally but exposed chamfered
cross-beam with runout stops in left room.
