Early C19 building in Gothic style. Originally square building of 2 storeys
with a later tail portion of lower elevation added on the west. Stuccoed,
the north front painted brick. Shaped gable to all 4 fronts with quatre-foil
panel sunk in the gable. Casement windows of 2 lights with trefoil-shaped
heads and dripstones over. The east front has 2 windows and one dummy window,
also a 4-centred doorway with door of 6 fielded panels and dripstone over.
The north front has one window, 2 dummy windows and one dummy doorway. The
south front has a tall pointed recess. Adjoining the Lodge to the east are
early C19 red brick gatepiers with ball caps, between which are double wrought
iron gates to the drive.
