Formerly the Manor House. A later C16 timber-framed and plastered building.
Two storeys and attics. The windows generally are modern casements. On
the west side there is a 3 storeyed gabled staircase wing on which both
the upper storey and the gable are jettied on moulded bressummers. Roof
tiled, with a fine original chimney stack on the west side with blue brick
diapering and a large sunk plastered panel with a moulded sill and a corbelled
head of 6 trefoiled arches. The shafts have been rebuilt. On the east
side there are 2 gabled dormers. (RCHM 6).
