House divided into 2. Early C19. Incised rendered walls with V-jointed quoins
to left and eaves cornice, on chamfered plinth. Graduated greenslate roof with
cement rendered chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays with 4th bay now West View.
Panelled door under glazed overlight within Ionic doorcase. Sash windows in
painted stone surrounds. West View has 2-storey side projection with C20 door
under casement window. Owner calls this Solway View but marked as Solway Villa
on OS map. Listed for G.V. with Ship Hotel.
