2 houses, now 2 shops. Late C18, altered mid and late C19 and
late C20. Colourwashed brick with steep pitched hipped pantile
roof. Dentillated eaves to right side and rear, 2 ridge
stacks. 3 storeys; 6 window range, with 2 plain sashes to left
and 4 glazing bar sashes to right. Above, similar fenestration
with 2 blank glazing bar sashes. Below, to left, a good
quality wooden shopfront c1875, with plain pilasters and
enriched scroll brackets to cornice with cast iron crest and
shop sign in Brilliant lettering. Splayed central recess with
glazed door and overlight, flanked by single pane windows with
brass mullions and aprons with Brilliant lettering. To right,
wooden shopfront c1989, with fascia and off-centre glazed
door, flanked by a 2-pane window to left and a single pane
window to right. Right end, to St Mark's Lane, has 2 segment
headed glazing bar sashes and above, 2 smaller sashes, that to
right flat headed. Below, to left, a single pane shop window
and to right, 2 blocked sement headed openings.
