Farmhouse. C16. Timber framed with brick infill plastered externally,
and imitation framing planted on top; plain tile roof; 2 roughcast ridge
stacks. Baffle-entry plan. 2 storeys with 3 rectangular panels to
eaves level; irregular fenestration, 2 casements to ground floor and
one to first floor right. C19 four-panel door to right, and blocked
doorway to left; each is directly in front of a chimney stack. Closely
spaced studs with middle rail to the left hand gable end and a double
collared roof truss with king-post above the upper collar and herringbone
pattern struts. Interior. Exposed wall framing; ovolo-moulded ceiling
beams large open kitchen fireplace with ovolo-moulded bressumer and timber
framed smoke hood.
