Late C17/early C18. Rubble with pantile roofs with gables, group of 4 ashlar
stacks set diagonally in centre of ridge. Two storeys, 4 windows, 2-light
casements with moulded stone mullions and transoms, drip moulds, relieving
arches to ground floor openings. Central architrave door opening with pulvinated
frieze, flat cornice over (broken), stone above door simply inscribed L.I.
1791. Gabled wing to rear, small gable to each inner elevation, irregular
windows, a number of 2-light leaded casements with moulded wooden mullions
and on ground floor, a 3-light mullion and transom window.
Interior: lobby entrance, both doors to inner rooms have original stop-chamfer
surrounds. Central room has large fireplace. Kitchen in rear wing with stopped
ovolo door-surround. On first floor, main room (to west) has cupboard to left
of fireplace retaining ornamented relief frieze. A number of irregular 3 plank
doors survive.
